Position Overview:

A Senior video editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that aligns with the Companys vision and meets the technical requirements for distribution. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality videos that effectively communicate the intended message.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Use editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D) to assemble raw footage into a polished video product.
2. Understand the client's vision and objectives to create compelling narratives and storytelling through video.
3. Implement visual effects, animations, and other post-production elements to enhance the video's quality and engagement.
4. Ensure seamless integration of audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to enhance the overall viewing experience.
5. Enhance the visual appeal of videos through color correction and grading techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic.
6. Work closely with producers,



directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
8. Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve editing skills and stay competitive in the field.
9. Perform quality checks on final products to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Qualifications:

1. Proficient in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and other relevant tools.
2. Demonstrable video editing ability with a robust portfolio
3. Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
4. Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
5. Creative mind and storytelling skills
6. Bachelor's degree in film studies, animation, cinematography or related field.
