Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth and strengthen market presence across the assigned territory.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributors and channel partners, developing market coverage, ensuring product availability, leading sales teams, and executing company sales and marketing strategies effectively.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the FMCG market, excellent distributor and retailer relationships, good team-management skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement area-wise sales plans to achieve business objectives.




- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned area.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions wherever required.

2. Distributor & Channel Management
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and channel partners in the assigned territory.
- Maintain healthy relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Monitor distributor stock, billing, collections, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure effective utilization of distributor infrastructure and manpower.
- Resolve distributor and channel-related issues promptly.

3. Market & Retail Execution
- Ensure adequate product availability and visibility across the market.
- Expand numeric and weighted distribution of products.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and consume
