Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop plastic and sheet metal components for home appliances using CREO.
- Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Apply GD&T; principles and ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
- Develop components considering DFM/DFA, manufacturing feasibility, tooling requirements, and assembly constraints.
- Perform design modifications based on engineering requirements, customer inputs, and manufacturing feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, tooling, quality, and product engineering.
- Ensure proper tolerancing, detailing, material selection, and component integration.
- Review designs for manufacturability and identify opportunities for cost, quality, and design improvements.





Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 23 years in mechanical/product design.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, CIPET, or DME.
- Hands-on experience in CREO is mandatory.
- Experience in home appliances product design will be preferred.
- Strong experience in plastic and sheet metal component design.
- Good knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
- Valuable knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, detailing, and 2D drawing creation.
- Candidates willing to work onsite in Goa will be preferred.
