We are hiring for a Background Verification Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end pre-employment screening and background verification activities for candidates across the UK, Europe, Africa and Rest of World (ROW) geographies.

Description:
- The Background Verification Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end pre-employment screening and background verification activities for candidates across the UK, Europe, and Rest of World (ROW) geographies.
- The incumbent will ensure timely completion of background checks, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, vendor governance, and resolution of verification discrepancies while maintaining excellent candidate experience.
- The role requires close collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compliance, Legal, Hiring Managers, and external screening vendors to ensure all hires meet organizational and client-specific onboarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Background Verification Operations




- Manage end-to-end background verification process for hires across UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC, LATAM, and other ROW countries.
- Initiate and track verification requests through screening vendors and internal systems. Review completed background reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Analyze discrepancies and coordinate adjudication activities. Ensure closure of all cases within defined SLAs before onboarding.
