Laptop Chip-Level Repair Technician

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Salary: 22,000 per month

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Laptop Chip-Level Repair Technician with hands-on experience in laptop motherboard diagnosis and component-level repair.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair laptop motherboard faults at chip/component level.

Troubleshoot no power, no display, charging, short circuit, overheating and booting issues.

Perform IC, MOSFET, capacitor, resistor and connector replacement.

Handle SMD soldering, micro-soldering and motherboard rework.

Perform BIOS programming/flashing and firmware-related troubleshooting.

Read and understand schematics and boardview diagrams.

Use multimeter, DC power supply, microscope, hot-air station and other diagnostic tools.

Perform BGA rework/reballing where required.





Test laptops thoroughly after repair and maintain repair quality.

Maintain proper records of repairs and replaced components.

Required Skills:

Solid knowledge of laptop motherboard circuits.

Good chip-level troubleshooting skills.

SMD and micro-soldering experience.

Knowledge of BIOS/EC/charging/power circuits.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot motherboard shorts.

Experience with brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus etc.

Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / relevant technical experience preferred.

Salary: 22,000/month, depending on skills and experience.

Location: Kolkata.
