Ensure reliable operation of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems for uninterrupted paper machine performance.
Key Outcomes
- Hydraulic system reliability across the paper machine.
- Minimized hydraulic-related downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Improved equipment performance through continuous improvement and predictive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems across Headbox, Press, Calendar, and Reel sections of the paper machine.
- Inspect hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators, manifolds, and filtration systems.
- Monitor hydraulic oil condition, contamination levels, pressure, flow, and temperature parameters.
- Diagnose hydraulic failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Support electro-hydraulic systems integrated with PLC and DCS control platforms.
- Execute preventive, predictive, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Support commissioning, testing, and optimization of hydraulic systems.
- Coordinate with production, electrical,
instrumentation, and maintenance teams for effective issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with hydraulic safety standards, LOTO requirements, TPM, 6S, and workplace excellence initiatives.
- Drive reliability improvement projects focused on leakage reduction, oil consumption optimization, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications / Experience
ITI/ Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electrical or related discipline with hands-on experience in hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems within continuous process industries.
