Associate Professor Radio Diagnosis

Position: Associate Professor

Key Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise diagnostic radiology services, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI as available at the institution.
- Interpret radiological investigations and prepare accurate, timely reports.
- Supervise junior faculty, residents and postgraduate trainees in clinical and academic activities.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, case discussions, tutorials and practical/clinical teaching for MBBS and postgraduate students.
- Participate in postgraduate training, examinations, assessments and departmental academic programs.
- Guide residents in appropriate imaging protocols and interpretation of difficult/complex cases.
- Participate in research projects, publications, conferences and CME activities.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, quality assurance and institutional protocols.




- Maintain appropriate patient records and support hospital quality-improvement activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees and other academic/administrative responsibilities assigned by the HOD.

Eligibility
- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Teaching/clinical experience as required by the applicable NMC and university regulations.
- Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Preference may be given to candidates with postgraduate teaching experience, research publications and experience with CT/MRI/ultrasound.
