Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations by filing returns on time and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct audits to identify areas of improvement in internal controls and processes.
- Provide support for external audit preparations by gathering necessary documents and providing timely responses to queries.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in Tally ERP9 software; knowledge of other accounting software an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST) and e-invoicing/e-way bill requirements.
- 2 yr min experience in accountancy or related field.
