As a Pre-Sales Associate at Shopflo, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying potential merchants, generating qualified leads, and initiating meaningful conversations with prospective customers. You will engage with SMBs and mid-sized businesses, understand their requirements, address their queries, and build relationships that create opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation Prospecting
- Identify and research potential SMB and mid-sized merchants and build a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
- Generate qualified leads through calling, LinkedIn, email, and relevant platforms.
- Identify key decision-makers and initiate meaningful conversations with potential customers.
Merchant Engagement
- Engage with merchants over calls, understand their business requirements, and address their initial queries.
- Clearly communicate Shopflos value proposition and identify how the product can solve their business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through consistent follow-ups and engagement.




Lead Qualification Handover
- Qualify prospects based on their business needs, fit, and potential.
- Maintain accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and lead status.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
What Were Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation, or a similar role.
- Freshers/interns with strong sales aptitude are also welcome.
- Experience in SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, Consumer Tech, or a similar technology environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in speaking to customers.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong relationship-building, follow-up, and problem-solving skills with a genuine interest in customer conversations.
