Support the DIC In manging the budget for Engineering department and ensuring that resources are used efficiently
Suggest cutting-edge ideas to reduce cost and improve productivity and efficiency
Control the rejections so as to save costs and produce outputs that are as per specified quality standards and as per customer requirements
Enable customer satisfaction by driving efficiency in internal processes within the department
Ensure appropriate, suitable actions towards customer complaints, so as to facilitate both customer retention as well as identify methods that helps in preventing such breakdowns from recurring
1. Data acquisition & analysis
a) Studying the PO, drawing and other technical inputs.
b)
Liaise with the planning & marketing for the technical requirements & queries.
c) Estimation of raw materials for composite part and tooling.
2. Design of Tooling's
a) Design of composite tool design. (Moulds , Jigs & Fixtures ) / Design Validation of Tooling's ( Composite & Metallics )
b) Component verification through Analysis using Hypermesh, Nastran and Patran,
c) Co- ordinating for Metallic parts realisation both In-House and outsourcing.
d) Proving out the prototype as and when required.
e) Creation of balloon drawings for quality clearance.
f) Drafting & conversion of 2D to 3D
3.Configuration management Control
a) Internal Release control ( Distribution, Access & Retrieval, Storage & Preservation, Control of changes, Retention & Disposition )
b) Customer Data Management ( Customer data verification, Customer Data Storage, Customer data translation & Flow-down, Data traceability, Data revision, Update
