Role & responsibilities
- Conduct Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification (RA/HIRA) and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure secure working practices around workers, heavy machinery, equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
- Monitor PPE compliance, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and site safety procedures.
- Implement fire prevention, emergency response, and workplace safety protocols.
- Ensure environmental health, hygiene, housekeeping, and waste management standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting, confined space, and electrical work.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain HSE documentation, inspection reports, and statutory safety records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE and statutory requirements.
