Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent checking of 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models developed in CATIA V5/V6.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, GD&T;, tolerances, material specifications, BOM, notes, and drawing standards.
- Verify design intent, drawing completeness, manufacturability, and consistency between 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with customer requirements, applicable aerospace standards, and internal design processes.
- Identify design and drawing errors and provide explicit, actionable feedback to designers.
- Review design changes and ensure all affected drawings and associated documentation are correctly updated.
- Support resolution of technical queries related to drawings, GD&T;, and design standards.
- Coordinate with designers and engineering teams to ensure quality and on-time release of drawings.
- Maintain checking quality and ensure compliance with established engineering and configuration-management processes.

Skill and Experience Required:
- Experience Range:



5 to 8 Years of experience in CATIA-based mechanical design and drawing checking.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an allied engineering discipline.
- CATIA: Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6, particularly in 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
- Drawing Checking: Prior experience in a formal Drawing Checker / Design Checker / Qualified Checker role is required.
- GD&T;: Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T;, dimensional tolerancing, and engineering drawing standards.
- Domain: Aerospace/Aviation experience is preferred, particularly experience with aircraft interiors, seating, or related mechanical systems.
- Additional Skills: Good understanding of engineering processes, design standards, configuration management, and manufacturing requirements.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, communication skills, and the ability to work effect
