- 6+ years of technical experience across diverse projects handling complex, heavy data sets, specifically for financial institutions (banks, asset managers, investment banks)
- Tech stack:
- Must-have
: Python, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib
- Good to have
: SQL, Snowflake
- Should be able to comprehend complex Excel financial models, and break it down into manageable components
- Can partner closely with business to specify and understand requirements, ask questions, write down goals & tech specs in documentation
- Prior experience writing complex logic in Python to transform time series data; please note PySpark is not a substitute for Python for this requirement
- Can write auditable, well documented Python code that replicates the logic in an Excel model as well as for business needs to transform data
