Job Description – Retail Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused Retail Sales Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, understanding their requirements, presenting products, achieving sales targets, and ensuring an excellent in-store shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Explain product features, advantages, pricing, offers, and services.
- Achieve individual and store-level sales targets.
- Generate sales through effective product presentation and upselling/cross-selling.
- Maintain proper product displays and ensure the store is well-presented.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of products, competitors, market trends, and promotions.
- Process orders, billing, payments, and basic sales documentation accurately.
- Follow up with customers when required to encourage repeat business.




- Maintain customer relationships and contribute to customer retention.
- Coordinate with the store and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and visual merchandising standards in the store.
- Prepare or maintain daily sales reports as required.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.

Requirements
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales or customer-facing sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-handling and convincing abilities.
- Target-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Presentable and professional personality.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and during peak business hours when required.
