Multi-Equipment Operator (Cherry Picker / Farana Crane / Mobile Crane / Forklift)

Location: Pipavav Port (Amreli), Gujurat
Department: Workshop / Asset Management
Reporting To: Supervisor – Workshop

Job Purpose:

To safely and efficiently operate multiple types of material handling and lifting equipment, including cherry pickers,



Farana/mobile cranes, and forklifts, ensuring smooth workshop and operational activities while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cherry picker, Farana crane, mobile crane, and forklift for lifting, shifting, and positioning of materials and equipment.
- Ensure safe handling of loads in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform pre-start and routine equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness.
- Report any mechanical issues, defects, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow all HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) guidelines and promote a robust safety culture.
- Maintain proper documentation such as logbooks, checklists, and equipment usage records.
- Assist in minor maintenance activities in coordination with the workshop team.
