Department: Receipt Inspection (Process Quality)

Formal education & Experience: BE - Mechanical with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience

Role & responsibilities:
- Perform Seal Plan & Spare items inspection for visual, dimensional, hydro test, NDT inspection, documents review etc. along with Client / TPI at Supplier and KSB end
- Conduct dimensional inspection of fabricated parts (Can, Motor stool, column pipes, base frame, etc.) using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper's, micrometer's, height gauges, and dial indicators etc.
- Review of QCP for Seal Plan and Fabricated items as per Projects Specifications.
- Execute NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities including DPI, RT, UT as per requirements.
- Verify that vendor manufacturing processes follow approved drawings and specifications.




- Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective action requests as required.
- Conduct Supplier Audit for vendor and take corrective actions from supplier for further improvements.
- Communicate inspection findings and work with vendors to resolve quality issues.
- Identify recurring issues in vendor quality performance and provide feedback for process improvements through notifications and improvement actions.

- Knowledge and well familiar with measuring instruments
- Knowledge of fabrication processes
- Awareness of NDT Testing's.
- Well understood machining & fabrication drawings along with code and relative standards.
