Transition Lead – Procurement (S2P Transition)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Start Date: Immediate / As Agreed

Role Purpose:

The Procurement Transition Lead will oversee the end-to-end vendor-to-vendor

(V2V) transition of Procurement/S2P operations, ensuring seamless handover of

sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, catalog/content management, P2P

support, and procurement analytics activities from the incumbent provider to the new

supplier.

This is a high-impact, timesensitive role requiring strong project governance,

procurement domain expertise, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management across

global and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transition Planning & Governance

 Build and manage the Procurement Transition Project Plan, including

phases, workstreams, dependencies, and deliverables.

 Run governance routines: PMO reporting, weekly workgroups, RAID logs,

transition dashboards, and leadership updates.





 Track progress against contractual transition SLAs, KPIs, and migration

timelines.

 Ensure both incumbent and incoming vendors adhere to SOW/MSA

transition commitments.

2. Procurement Process Due Diligence & Scope Validation

 Validate inscope procurement processes such as:

o Sourcing support

o Contract lifecycle management

o Supplier onboarding & vendor master requests

o Catalog & content management

 Lead hypercare for 2–6 weeks with daily monitoring of:

o Backlogs

o Cycle time recovery

o Issue resolution

o SLA stabilization

 Secure Steady State Acceptance and finalize baseline metrics for the current

vendor.

 Deliver Post-Implementation Review summarizing lessons learned &

improvement actions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

 6–10 years of experience in Procurement / S2P operations.

 Minimum 3 years in transition management, preferably vendor-to-vendor.
