Position Title: Manager/Sr. Manager - Tax

Location: Chennai

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to oversee the organization's end-to-end tax function, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations while driving tax planning and optimization strategies. The role will be responsible for managing direct taxes, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing across India and the US/Manila subsidiaries, supporting audits, and advising business leaders on tax implications of key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory tax returns, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage tax provisions and maintain tax-related balances in the general ledger.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities for tax filings, assessments, and audits.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance across all entities.
- Maintain and regularly update the tax compliance and litigation register,



ensuring reconciliation with the books of accounts.

Tax Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide tax advisory support on mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and other strategic business transactions.
- Conduct research on complex domestic and international tax matters and provide practical recommendations.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements for international operations.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with tax authorities during assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business teams to ensure tax-effective business practices.
