Job Description Linux Administrator

Experience: 1-4 Years
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu).
- Perform Linux server installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Handle user management, file permissions, and security configurations.
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability.
- Perform OS patching, system updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot Linux OS, network, and application-related issues.
- Work with basic networking concepts such as IP, DNS, SSH, and TCP/IP.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and support infrastructure projects.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs,



and operational records.

Required Skills
- 13 years of hands-on experience in Linux Administration.
- Good knowledge of RHEL, Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux.
- Understanding of Linux commands, shell scripting (basic), and filesystem management.
- Knowledge of user administration, permissions, package management, and process management.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, SSH, IP addressing).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
