We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support to employees and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, network, email, printer, and user-access-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Provide L1 and L2 technical support to users through onsite, remote, phone, and ticketing systems.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
- Configure and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Create, modify, disable, and remove user accounts according to the approved process.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Install and monitor antivirus, endpoint security, and patch-management agents.
- Perform laptop and desktop formatting, data backup, restoration, and user profile migration.
- Configure printers, scanners, IP phones, and video-conferencing equipment.




- Maintain IT asset inventory, including device assignment, handover, return, and warranty details.
- Follow employee onboarding and offboarding checklists.
- Record all incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the senior engineer, vendor, or IT manager.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, internet issues, and software support.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular health checks of IT equipment.
- Follow the organization’s information security policies, SOPs, and ISO 27001 requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of configurations, solutions, incidents, and asset records.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of company and user data.
- Valuable knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
