Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the finance and accounts department. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and experience handling financial records, payments, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, receipts, payments, and collections.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, and bank records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and regular account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and vendor balances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports.
- Manage cash and bank transactions and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Verify bills,



expenses, invoices, and payment requests.
- Coordinate with auditors, CA, banks, vendors, and internal departments when required.
- Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance and documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure records are up to date.
- Support monthly closing and year-end accounting activities.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely correction of accounting entries.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
