Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Head to lead technical and engineering activities for our fastener business. The candidate will be responsible for product development, drawing study and approval, technical evaluation, supplier quality coordination, customer technical support, sourcing validation, and ensuring compliance with international fastener standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete RFQ for fastener products including bolts, nuts, screws, washers, and special fasteners; sheet metal items and plastic injection moulding items.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, standards, and technical requirements for feasibility and manufacturability.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, process documents, samples, and technical submissions before production and dispatch.
- Coordinate with suppliers for drawing clarification, revision control,



and technical approvals.
- Handle technical discussions with suppliers regarding material grades, coatings, mechanical properties, tolerances, and application requirements.
- Ensure all approved drawings and specifications are properly controlled and updated.
- Support sourcing and vendor development for standard and special fasteners.
- Develop and advise suppliers on manufacturing processes for cold forging, thread rolling, heat treatment, coating/plating and secondary operations.
- Lead technical and engineering operations for industrial and automotive fasteners.
- Lead current product development (NPD), process validation, and production trial approvals.
- Coordinate with quality, engineering, planning, and dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and international standards such as DIN, ASTM, ASME, JIS, and ISO standards.
