Job Summary

The Senior Manager – Sales Accounts will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations related to sales, revenue, customer accounts, receivables, collections, and sales reconciliations. The role will ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting, robust credit control, effective collection management, and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Sales Accounting & Revenue Management
- Oversee accounting of sales transactions, invoices, credit notes, debit notes, discounts, returns, and related adjustments.
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of sales revenue.
- Review sales invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Monitor sales accounting across branches, locations, business units, or channels.
- Ensure proper reconciliation between sales records, ERP/system reports, and the general ledger.

2. Accounts Receivable & Collections




- Lead the Accounts Receivable function and monitor customer outstanding balances.
- Develop and monitor ageing reports and collection targets.
- Coordinate with the Sales/Business Development team for timely recovery of outstanding payments.
- Review overdue accounts and escalate critical collection issues to management.
- Monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, and credit exposure.
- Support the development and implementation of effective credit-control procedures.

3. Reconciliation & Controls
- Ensure regular reconciliation of customer ledgers, sales registers, bank receipts, and general ledger balances.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts and sales transactions.
- Ensure proper accounting of advances, deposits, refunds, rebates, incentives, and promotional schemes.
