Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining safety, security, and discipline within the hospital premises, protecting patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property, and responding promptly to security-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points of the hospital.
- Verify and control the movement of patients, visitors, staff, and vehicles.
- Maintain security and discipline within the hospital premises.
- Conduct regular rounds of assigned areas.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activities.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Assist patients and visitors with directions and basic information.
- Handle crowd control during emergencies and high-footfall situations.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disputes, and emergencies.
- Maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident registers as required.
- Safeguard hospital assets, equipment, and property.
- Support the hospital team during fire, disaster, evacuation, and other emergencies.
- Report theft, damage, suspicious activities,



or other incidents immediately to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with local police, fire services, ambulance services, or other authorities when required.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover of security duties between shifts.
- Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualification
- Minimum 10th / 12th Standard preferred.
- Security Guard training/certification will be an added advantage.
- Ex-servicemen candidates may be preferred.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in security services.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment will be preferred.

Required Skills
- Good observation and alertness.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Physical fitness and discipline.
- Basic knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Valuable interpersonal and crowd-management skills.
