Skills required:
- Sound technical knowledge and practical experience of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process
- Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective
- Familiarity with Companies Act, SEBI and related regulatory requirements
- Possess strong domain knowledge, has solid accounting foundation skills
- Experience of financial reporting / accounting implications for M&A; / group restructuring
- Experience of financial reporting and finance transformation projects would be an added advantage
Responsibility
- End to end project management. Key activities include guiding the team on technical accounting / financial reporting matters, manage client relationships, monitor project progress and relevant operational / financial matters.
- Application of IGAAP, Ind AS, IFRS and / or US GAAP or an equivalent GAAP on engagements GAAP conversion and / or topical queries on technical accounting matters
- Financial reporting support (technical as well process related)
services to clients
- Assist clients with respect to financial reporting requirements in connection with listing of securities
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge
- Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
- Work with stringent deadlines and deliver effectively and efficiently
