Role Objective

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Accounts qualified who can take ownership of the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function for a growing NBFC/Insurance business. The role requires strong exposure to financial-services accounting, regulatory and statutory compliance, financial close, MIS, reconciliations, audit management, taxation, and internal controls. The candidate should be capable of independently managing the Accounts function in a lean startup environment and working closely with senior management, auditors, tax consultants, and business teams.





1. End-to-End Finance & Accounting

· Own and manage the complete day-to-day accounting function with minimal supervision.

· Maintain books of accounts, general ledger, journals, vouchers, schedules, and supporting records.

· Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

· Review accounting entries, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and balance sheet schedules.

· Ensure timely closure and reconciliation of all ledger balances.

· Support preparation of financial statements and schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

2. NBFC & Insurance Accounting

· Manage accounting for NBFC/Insurance-related business transactions, as applicable.

· Handle accounting of interest income, fees, commissions, brokerage, service income, operating expenses, and other business transactions.
