Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
• Manage procurement activities for solar EPC projects and corporate requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost reduction and supply continuity.
• Source and evaluate vendors for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, SCADA, and other EPC materials.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, compare quotations, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contracts with suppliers.

Vendor Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct vendor assessment, qualification, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company quality, safety, and delivery standards.
• Build alternative supplier networks to reduce procurement risks.

Contract & Commercial Management
• Finalize purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in line with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms.




• Monitor procurement budgets and support project cost control.
• Coordinate with finance for payment processing and reconciliation.

Project Coordination
• Coordinate with engineering, project execution, logistics, and stores teams for material planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Resolve procurement-related issues affecting project schedules.
• Track procurement schedules and maintain MIS reports.

Inventory & Compliance
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements, and audit processes.
• Maintain procurement documentation and ERP records.

Preferred candidate profile
- Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of solar EPC materials and procurement processes.
• Commercial acumen and contract management expertise.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.
