We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler PHE with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling and coordination for large-scale airport, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or other complex building projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed PHE BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project and BIM standards.
Role & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for Plumbing, Hydrant and Fire Fighting systems using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Model domestic water supply, hot/cold water, soil and waste, stormwater, rainwater drainage, sanitary systems, hydrant and sprinkler systems.
- Prepare detailed plans, sections, layouts, riser diagrams, schedules and coordinated drawings from BIM models.
- Coordinate PHE services with Architecture, Structure, HVAC, Electrical and other MEP disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.
- Review engineering drawings,
specifications and design inputs and translate them accurately into BIM models.
- Develop and modify Revit families, components and parameters as required for project deliverables.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans, LOD requirements, standards and client specifications.
- Prepare coordinated/shop drawings and incorporate design revisions and site changes into BIM models.
- Support preparation of as-built BIM models and documentation.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve technical/modeling issues with project stakeholders.
- Conduct model quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness and constructability.
- Coordinate with site teams and consultants to resolve discrepancies between design, BIM models and site requirements.
- Support BIM leads/coordinators in meeting project deliverables, schedules and quality requirements.
