We're looking for an Industrial Designer who can work closely with us to develop and evolve Shunya's product range; from refining existing products to building the next range of offerings.

In Your Ownership

You will get to work on Shunya's core product ecosystem - shaping objects that people interact with daily in their spiritual practice.
Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
- Working on current product concepts from idea to execution
- Refining and improving existing product lines (form, usability, detailing)
- Translating spiritual philosophies into physical design language
- Creating products that balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability
Design Exploration
- Sketching, ideation, and concept development
- Material exploration (metal, wood, stone, fabric, etc.)




- Form studies and proportion refinement
- Creating a distinct visual language across all products
Prototyping & Execution
- Developing prototypes (physical / 3D)
- Working with vendors, artisans, and manufacturers
- Understanding constraints - cost, scalability, production methods
- Iterating designs based on real-world feedback
Detailing & System Thinking
- Designing with attention to joins, finishes, tolerances, and durability
- Ensuring consistency across product collections
- Thinking in ecosystems, not standalone objects
- Maintaining a premium, refined output across every detail
Skills Required
Hard & Soft Skills
- Strong fundamentals in industrial / product design
- Proficiency in 3D software (Fusion, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to sketch and communicate ideas clearly
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing, and fabrication processes
- Ability to take a concept from idea ? p
