As SkillsBee continues to expand its student base and admissions operations, we are looking for an experienced Academic Counselor who can take ownership of student counseling, admissions conversion, follow-ups, and day-to-day counseling performance.

Why This Role Exists

The Academic Counselor plays a key role in converting interested prospects into enrolled students while ensuring that every student receives accurate, skilled, and personalized guidance.

The counselor is expected to understand student requirements,



identify the right course fit, handle objections, maintain consistent follow-ups, and guide prospects through the complete admission journey.

The Academic Counselor will also support the counseling team through performance monitoring, mentoring, lead management, and sharing effective counseling practices.

Role Overview

The Academic Counselor will manage the complete student counseling and admission process — from the first interaction with a prospective student through follow-up and final enrollment.

The role involves handling inbound and outbound leads, understanding student career goals, explaining SkillsBee programs, conducting counseling sessions, addressing objections, maintaining follow-up schedules, and achieving monthly admission targets.

The Academic Counselor will also assist the team in improving conversion performance and maintaining a high-quality student experience.
