Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Incharge to manage the receipt, storage, issue, and inventory control of construction materials at the project site. The selected candidate will ensure the timely availability of materials, accurate stock records, proper documentation, and effective coordination with the procurement, accounts, engineering, and site execution teams.

The role requires robust knowledge of construction materials, good numerical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment. Key store activities include material receipt and inspection, stock reconciliation, material issuance, bin-card maintenance, and preparation of inventory reports.bebee+1

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the construction site store.
- Receive construction materials, tools,



equipment, and other supplies from vendors.
- Verify the quantity and condition of materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and approved specifications.
- Report shortages, excess quantities, damages, or quality discrepancies to the procurement and project teams.
- Ensure proper unloading, identification, labeling, stacking, and storage of materials.
- Issue materials to site teams only against approved material requisitions or issue slips.
- Maintain records of all inward and outward material movements.
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, material ledgers, issue slips, return slips, and gate passes.
- Monitor stock levels and raise material indents or purchase requisitions as per site requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of cement, steel, sand, aggregates, pipes, electrical items, plumbing materials, safety items, tools, and other construction materials.
