Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and review *BAS (Business Activity Statements), IAS (Instalment Activity Statements)* and other ATO compliance reports accurately and within required deadlines.
Manage *day-to-day bookkeeping*, including bank reconciliation, accounts reconciliation, payroll processing and reconciliation, ATO reconciliation, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Ensure compliance with *Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation, GST requirements, and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations*.




Prepare and maintain *financial statements and accounting reports* for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individual clients.
Analyse clients’ financial statements, identify financial trends and discrepancies, and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes and internal accounting processes.
Work efficiently with accounting and bookkeeping platforms such as *Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Dext*, and other relevant accounting software.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client accounting records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
Assist with *tax preparation, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance-related activities* as required.
Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams regarding accounting, taxation, payroll, reconciliation, and compliance matters.
