Role Description:
The Electric
Motor Flux Design, Simulation & Development Engineer
will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electric motors for aerospace and automotive applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed electromagnetic designs, performing simulations and analysis, thermal analysis, structural validation, preparing engineering documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance and reliability targets within schedule constraints.

What You Will Do

Electromagnetic Design
- Design BLDC motor topology (slotted and slotless variants) for specified torque, speed, power, and efficiency targets
- Perform magnetic flux design considering all constraints, air gap dimensions, back iron saturation, magnet grade and geometry, winding configuration, slot-pole combination
- Optimize winding design for minimal copper loss, cogging torque, and back-EMF harmonic distortion
- Validate designs analytically and through simulation before physical prototype

Thermal Analysis
- Perform steady-state and transient thermal analysis of motor assemblies under continuous and peak load conditio
