We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Front End Engineer to build and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js.
This is a hands-on Individual Contributor role where you will be the primary developer responsible for understanding an existing codebase, making technical decisions, and delivering high-quality front-end solutions with minimal formal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy React-based web applications.
- Build reusable React components within established design systems.
- Develop and maintain applications using React, Redux, JavaScript, and Next.js.
- Integrate front-end applications with CMS platforms and backend services.
- Implement feature toggling and scalable front-end patterns.
- Evaluate application performance and improve user experience.
- Work independently to understand existing systems and make sound technical decisions.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, code quality, testing, and Git workflows.
- Collaborate with technical leads, QA, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of front-end development experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on React and JavaScript experience.
- Robust Next.js experience.
- Experience with Redux, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems.
- Experience writing React components within a design system.
- CMS integration experience.
- Feature toggling experience.
- Strong independent contributor / self-driven mindset.
- Git and front-end testing experience.
