Position Overview
BCI is seeking a highly skilled hands-on
Senior .NET Developer
to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs for our direct USA based client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
C#, .NET Core, cloud-native development on AWS, contemporary software design principles, and automated testing practices
. Must be able to work a blended hours schedule of EST and IST timings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions following industry best practices.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture methodologies.
- Develop efficient data access layers using Entity Framework and ORM frameworks.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Build and optimize distributed and event-driven applications leveraging AWS services.
- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, and QA teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- 6-8 years of experience in backend application development using
C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
