Job Description
:
Design, develop, and maintain the C++ server-side backend of a large-scale
Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
. You will own business rule processing, data persistence, query handling, and system integration across a modular, plugin-based architecture targeting both Windows and Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain business rule modules covering manufacturing lot lifecycle operations (creation, routing, tracking, termination, and history management)
- Develop data persistence entities that map to relational database tables, including transaction management, audit history, and constraint enforcement
- Write and optimize query and list rule handlers for dashboard aggregation, equipment management, and production data retrieval
- Maintain shared utility libraries used across multiple modules
- Build and debug XML-based messaging for inter-process and system-to-system communication using a request/reply pattern
- Troubleshoot production issues involving transaction failures, data consistency, and concurrent access
- Maintain build configurations for multi-platform builds (Windows and Linux)
- Collaborate with database teams on schema changes driven by recent data model requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional C++ development in an enterprise or industrial setting
- Experience working in a layered, modular architecture with strict inter-mod
