Role Description
The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and enhancing volunteer engagement across Citco’s programs and initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, this role will recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers, coordinate schedules, and maintain accurate volunteer records. The coordinator will design and deliver training sessions, provide ongoing guidance, and ensure volunteers have the resources they need to perform effectively. This role will also collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, support community outreach activities, and recognize volunteer contributions. Regular communication with volunteers and stakeholders, along with monitoring participation and feedback, will be key to improving the volunteer experience and supporting Citco’s broader mission.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively recruit, onboard, and support volunteers.




- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build relationships, provide clear guidance, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess skills in Community Outreach to promote volunteer opportunities and strengthen engagement with external communities.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to coordinate schedules, manage records, and handle multiple volunteer activities concurrently.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with common digital tools and remote collaboration platforms to support volunteers in a virtual environment.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in a volunteer coordination, nonprofit, or community engagement role; education or training in human services, communications, or a related field is beneficial.
