Role Description
- 7–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress for web application test automation.
- Experience in developing scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Expertise in end-to-end, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.

API Testing
- Strong experience in API testing and automation using:Postman , Rest Assured ,GraphQL ,Pact (Contract Testing) ,Wire Mock (Mocking and Service Virtualization)
- Experience validating RESTful APIs, request/response schemas, authentication mechanisms, and error handling.

CI/CD & DevOps
Hands-on experience with
GitLab CI/CD
pipelines.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of build, deployment, and release automation processes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.




- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution.
- Perform API automation, contract testing, and service virtualization using appropriate tools.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and quality engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud-based environments and contemporary software delivery practices is a plus.
