Job Purpose
To learn and perform basic garment sewing operations under the guidance of supervisors while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards. The trainee will develop the skills required to become a Sewing Operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn various sewing machine operations and garment construction techniques.
- Operate sewing machines as instructed by the Team Leader or Trainer.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Produce garments according to the required quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Report machine issues, defects, or quality concerns immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the workstation (5S).
- Follow safety rules and wear the required PPE.
- Meet daily learning and production targets set during the training period.
- Attend all training sessions, skill development programs, and toolbox talks.
- Work effectively as part of the production team.

Educational Qualification
- Minimum: 8th Standard / 10th Standard (Preferred)




- Basic reading and writing skills.

Experience
- Freshers are welcome.
- Prior experience in garment manufacturing is an added advantage but not mandatory.
