- Diploma in tool & Die making, Post diploma in tool design (Poly Mould Design).
- Design Thermoplastic injection moulds (Hot runner & Cold runner) using CAD software like UG NX, Solid Works & Auto CAD
- Understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Analyze part designs to ensure manufacturability and recommend design changes if needed.
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for new mold designs and mold modifications.
- Create and maintain detailed mold design documentation including BOM, drawings and revision history.
- Work closely with tooling engineers, machinists and production staff during the mold manufacturing and debugging process.




- Perform mold flow analysis and thermal simulations to optimize part quality and cycle time.
- Ensure mold designs meet safety, dimensional accuracy and performance standards.
- Support mold trials, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Knowledge of materials, machining and mold manufacturing processes.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with mold flow analysis tools like Moldex3D, Autodesk Moldflow is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of mold maintenance and repair practices.
