Job Description: Deputy Associate – Intralogistics Automation (Projects)
Position Overview
The Deputy Associate – Intralogistics Automation (Projects) will support the end-to-end execution of automated warehouse and material handling projects. This hands-on role involves coordinating project timelines, assisting with on-site installation, collaborating with engineering vendors, and ensuring that automation systems are commissioned safely, on time, and up to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, paired with strong organizational and project execution tracking skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Tracking
- Assist the Project Manager in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Asana).
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including layouts, technical datasheets, change orders, Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), and meeting minutes.




- Monitor in office project progress to ensure execution aligns closely with the approved engineering drawings and project layouts.

2. On-Site Installation & Commissioning Support
- Supervise and coordinate with third-party vendors, contractors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) during the physical installation of systems like conveyors, AGVs, AMRs, and AS/RS cranes.
- Assist in the basic hardware and software integration tests (e.g., testing sensor alignment, motor configurations, and network connectivity).
- Support the execution of Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) protocols alongside the quality and engineering teams.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between internal design/software engineering teams and on-site deployment contractors.
