Position Title: Assistant Manager – Erection & Logistics

Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Erection & Logistics will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising erection and logistics activities for utility-scale solar projects. The role involves ensuring timely availability and movement of project materials, managing transportation and site logistics, supervising erection activities, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring project execution in line with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Erection Planning & Execution

Plan, coordinate, and supervise erection activities for module mounting structures, solar PV modules, inverter stations, transformers, and other Balance of System (BoS) equipment.

Ensure erection works are executed in accordance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.

Monitor daily progress of erection activities and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.





Coordinate with civil, electrical, commissioning, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.

2. Logistics & Material Coordination

Develop and monitor logistics plans for transportation of project materials, equipment, and heavy machinery from vendors to project sites.

Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, procurement teams, and site stores to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Track material dispatches, transit status, unloading, storage, and availability at site.

Ensure proper handling, preservation, and storage of project materials to avoid damage or losses.

3. Contractor & Vendor Management

Manage contractors and logistics service providers engaged in erection and transportation activities.

Review contractor performance, productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
