As we grow, we are looking for someone who can lead social media as a complete business function—not simply manage posting calendars.

About the Role:

The Head of Social Media will own strategy, content quality, team performance, client delivery and platform growth across the MediaClans client portfolio.

This position requires someone who can combine creative instinct with strategic thinking, data, strong processes and dependable execution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop platform-specific social media strategies aligned with each client’s business objectives.

* Lead monthly content planning across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.

* Guide the creation of reels, carousels, static posts, stories,



campaign concepts, scripts and social-first content.

* Manage and mentor social media executives, copywriters and other content resources.

* Coordinate closely with designers, video editors, performance marketers and client-servicing teams.

* Ensure content calendars, approvals, publishing, community management and reports are completed on time.

* Review content before it reaches clients and maintain robust standards for copy, design, platform suitability and brand consistency.

* Analyse platform insights and translate performance data into clear improvements.

* Participate in important client meetings, strategy presentations and new-business pitches.

* Build practical SOPs, checklists and workflows that help the social media team work consistently across multiple accounts.

* Stay ahead of platform updates, cultural conversations, content formats and changing audience behaviour.
