About the Role

We are looking for a Commercial / Procurement Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement cycle — from sourcing and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will support commercial operations by monitoring costs, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies, GST provisions, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, and reliability; obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules; prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts
- Monitor order status, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies, GST laws, and legal requirements




- Coordinate with internal departments on purchasing needs; monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly
- Analyze procurement costs, identify savings opportunities, and prepare procurement reports, budgets, and spend analyses
- Maintain supplier databases and performance records; resolve supplier issues on quality, delivery, or invoicing
- Support tendering, bidding, and contract administration; help improve procurement strategies and processes

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial, or supply chain roles (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
- Working knowledge of GST laws and provisions applicable to procurement
