Collection, processing, testing, and distribution of blood products. Responsibilities include screening donors, conducting blood typing and compatibility tests, separating blood components (like plasma and platelets), and maintaining strict inventory and cold chain protocols to ensure secure transfusion
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)
- High attention to detail, strong knowledge of immunohematology, and familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and that operations adhere to NABH and local regulations.
