Role Overview

This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The Procurement Engineer will manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement for engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers.
- Prepare and manage RFQs and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Issue and track purchase orders.




- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance teams.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure policy compliance.
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in supplier evaluation, RFQs, and purchase order management.
- Good analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in industrial procurement preferred.
- Knowledge of global sourcing and import/export processes is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
