Final Inspection Engineer / Inspector - Diecasting

Job Purpose

To ensure that all finished products meet customer specifications, drawing requirements, and quality standards before dispatch. Responsible for final inspection, documentation, and release of products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Final Inspection Activities

• Perform final inspection of finished products before dispatch.

• Verify dimensions, visual appearance, and functional requirements as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Conduct inspections using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Thread Gauge, and other measuring instruments.

• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and quality standards.

• Approve or reject products based on inspection results.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain Final Inspection Reports (FIR).

• Record inspection results and maintain traceability documents.

• Verify inspection records, quality check sheets, and production documents.





• Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.

Quality Assurance

• Identify non-conforming products and segregate them appropriately.

• Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Report) for quality issues.

• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for corrective actions.

• Ensure zero-defect products are dispatched to customers.

Dispatch Verification

• Verify product quantity, packing, labeling, and identification before dispatch.

• Ensure shipment documents are complete and accurate.

• Support dispatch activities to meet customer delivery schedules.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze rejection trends and recommend corrective actions.

• Participate in Kaizen and quality improvement initiatives.

• Support internal, customer, and certification audits.

Required Skills
- • Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- • Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
- • Understanding of ISO 9001 /
