- Plan, execute, and supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor
- Oversee aluminium fabrication processes including cutting, welding, and grinding
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Ensure all tasks are completed as per specifications, quality standards, and timelines
- Inspect finished components and materials for dimensional accuracy and quality
- Coordinate with the Supervisor and workers for smooth workflow and shift planning
- Identify production issues and provide quick technical solutions on the floor
- Maintain records of production output, material usage, and daily work logs
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines and equipment (cutting, welding, grinding tools)
- Follow and enforce all safety rules, PPE usage, and factory safety protocols
- Train and guide workers on correct techniques and protected practices
- Coordinate with procurement/stores for timely availability of raw materials and consumables
