Position Overview
We are seeking a agile and results-oriented
Assistant Manager – Business Development
to join our Coverage Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading business development initiatives, engaging directly with clients, and managing a network of intermediaries. This role requires a strong background in Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, or Capital Markets, with a focus on SME .

Experience Required
- 3 – 5 years in Investment Banking, SME IPO Business Development, Merchant Banking, or Capital Markets Business Development.

Qualifications
Option A
- MBA in Finance with CFA Level II (in progress or cleared)
- 3 to 4 years of direct business development/origination experience in Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, or Capital Markets
- Proven track record of independently leading client pitch meetings

Option B
- CA Inter cleared or MBA in Finance
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in SME/Main Board IPO origination, Merchant Banking Business Development,



or SEBI-regulated intermediary Business Development
- NISM Series XV preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development Meetings: Conduct introductory and first-level pitch meetings with promoters and CFOs, presenting the firm's capabilities and value proposition.
- Qualify Targets: Assess origination targets against SME and Main Board eligibility criteria and prepare deal feasibility notes for review.
- Prepare Pitch Materials: Create and finalize pitch decks, teasers, and customized deal proposals, ensuring accuracy and client alignment.
- Manage Intermediary Network: Build and maintain a network of Chartered Accountants (CAs) and intermediaries to generate referrals.
- Organize Seminars: Plan and lead CA seminars and SME IPO awareness events to enhance market visibility.
