Role & responsibilities
Create/modify 3D models and assemblies; generate 2D manufacturing drawings (weldments, machined parts, sheet metal, subassemblies) using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Creo).
9+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
Strong knowledge of GD&T;, material selection, and manufacturing processes
Apply GD&T; (ASME Y14.5), fits, tolerances, datums, surface finish, and critical characteristics.
Build BOMs, part numbers, revision control, and drawing release packages
Handle ECO/ECN updates, redlines, and revision changes with clean traceability.
9-14+ years mechanical design experience in industrial machinery / SPM / heavy equipment / attachments / Oil & Gas / HVAC
Coordinate with machine shops/fabricators: weld symbols, bend allowances, machining callouts, coating/heat treatment notes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
Experience in creating drawings for Pressure vessels,
Heat Exchangers, storage tanks and skid design (Preferred)
Design HVAC systems based on project requirements and applicable codes
Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and DFMEA assessments
Background in sheet metal, plastics, or electromechanical systems
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME, ISO, CE, UL) is desirable
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD
- Good understanding of GD&T;, DFM/DFA, and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, including 2D drawings, BOMs, and change management.
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) is desirable
- Positive to have valid B1/B2 (business visitor) or H1B visa
